America has been blessed with energy abundance. By using all of our available energy options, every American can breathe a little easier when it comes time to fill up the tank or pay the bills, and we can get closer to North American energy independence.

The House has developed and passed an all-of-the-above energy plan that uses every energy resource we have available, both renewable and conventional. Though this plan will promote stability and lower energy prices, Senate Democrats haven’t acted.

This week, as part of our all-of-the-above strategy, the House will pass an energy package that includes three bills on energy efficiency and the expansion of renewable energy sources. Each of the following bills has already passed the House by a voice vote:

Overall, Democrats have cast over 850 votes for the bills in the House’s energy and jobs and economy packages. By using our great diversity of energy resources, we can expand our economy and lower energy prices. That’s a good deal and an easy decision.
