Washington, D.C. – House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (CA-23) released the following statement on the President’s signing of four Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolutions to repeal Obama-era regulations:

“Federal meddling and micromanagement continues to undermine our rights and disrupt the American people’s daily lives. These four resolutions of disapproval that Congress sent to President Trump’s desk would overturn rules that blacklist businesses from federal contracts and that insert federal bureaucrats into land and education decisions that should be handled by state and local governments. The American people want to live their lives without having to constantly look to Washington for approval. President Trump’s signature on these resolutions brings our neighbors across the country relief from the heavy hand of government.”
