On the House Republican Response to the Supreme Court’s Health Care ruling:

“We want to see what the court decides, see what their reaction is and then we will read the decision and react from there.”

“It’s not popular because of what’s in it –  the taxes, 20 million Americans will not be able to keep their current health care plan after the President promised they would be able to. The Congressional Budget Office’s numbers says it will cost an additional $1.7 trillion. There’s the IPAB – a board of 15 unelected bureaucrats that decide what you are going to get from Medicare, and finally it cuts $500 billion from Medicare at a time when Medicare isn’t even solvent.”

On the House’s action on ‘Fast and Furious’ this week:

“Unless Mr. Holder provides these documents, there will be a contempt vote. It wasn’t just Republicans that have requested these documents, there were Democrats too. Remember, what has happened here, an American citizen died based upon the actions of the American government.”

“I think people have the right to know why this happened and why an American citizen is dead. Why are we afraid of providing the documents? … Remember, they first said they knew nothing about ‘Fast and Furious.’ Then they had to go back and say ‘Oh no, we actually did know something.’”
