That headline isn’t very surprising, is it? We all know that Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei refuses to change Iran’s policy of hatred and violence toward the U.S. and Israel, yet President Obama still claims that this is a “very good deal for Israel.”

That’s not what Iran’s lead negotiator, Javad Zarif, told the head of the terrorist organization Hezbollah. According to the Hezbollah TV station al-Manar, Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif told Hezbollah head Hassan Nasrallah that the nuclear deal—complete with billions of dollars in sanctions relief and a legal path to a nuclear weapon—would give them even more opportunity to fight Israel.

Zarif also told reporters that the main challenge facing Iran in the Middle East is “the Zionist and extremist regime.”

In this deal, Iran gets a legal path to a nuclear weapon. The conventional weapons embargo is lifted in five years. The ballistic missile embargo ends in eight years, giving Iran legal access to missiles that can carry a nuclear payload. And meanwhile, Iran will get billions of dollars in sanctions relief that it plans to use to destabilize the Middle East further and fund a terrorist organization devoted to Israel’s destruction.

Only this Administration thinks a good deal means giving Iran money, access to weapons, and a path to a nuclear bomb all while Iran remains devoted to destroying our greatest ally in the Middle East and the one stable democracy in the region.
