When Democrats Defund Our Police, Communities are Less Safe

Los Angeles, Austin, and New York City are just a few examples of what happens when police departments are defunded.
The election of President Trump ushered in a new era of peace through strength. Our military has been rebuilt, and our men and women in uniform now have the tools they need and the pay raises they deserve. Where past administrations once gave our allies blankets, the Trump Administration has given them missiles. America will not be bullied, and the proof is in President Trump’s elimination of terrorists like Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and Qasem Soleimani. Now, more than ever, our allies respect us and our enemies fear us.

Now is the time to commit to such ambitious efforts across the board if we want to strengthen the country’s foundation and create an environment for the American people to thrive.
