“I feel very blessed. I married my high school sweetheart and we have two kids. We know the struggles we go through, just like everybody else in America.

“I’m fortunate enough that my constituents leant me power to represent them. I got to work inside Washington. I go home every weekend. I sleep in a couch inside the office. I don’t want to become Washington. I want Kern County’s views to become Washington.
