Congressman Brian Mast (FL-18), Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11), and Committee on Homeland Security Ranking Member John Katko (NY-24) jointly delivered this week’s Republican Address on the 20th Anniversary of September 11, 2001. This year, more than ever, it is important we remember the innocent friends and family we lost, the brave service members who fought back to protect us, and to ensure the United States is never again in a position that compromises our homeland security.

The fight to keep our nation safe and strong for generations to come is not over. The years ahead will be challenging. However, the American people proved twenty years ago that we are strong and cannot be beaten down by cowardly terrorist attacks. As we remember this solemn milestone, let us stand united once again, recommit to making America stronger and safer, and pledge wholeheartedly to ‘never forget.’
