Washington, D.C. – House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (CA-23) released the following statement on sending H.R. 757, the North Korea Sanctions and Policy Enhancement Act, to the President’s desk:

“With a resounding and near unanimous voice in both the House and Senate, Congress calls on the President to impose new sanctions on North Korea for its dangerous behavior and repeated violations of international law. Doing nothing is unacceptable. The Kim regime must learn that its provocations will be neither rewarded nor accepted. I urge the President to sign this bill into law and impose increased sanctions on North Korea as soon as possible.”
